Sailing for a Cause is a platform for connecting. We bring together Bay Area nonprofits, funders, and local sailing charter companies through unique sailing experiences that inspire generosity, create connection, and produce tangible impact.
When you book a charter through one of our Charter Partners, 20% goes to support a cause you care about.
You choose the charter. You choose the nonprofit. We provide the standardized giving packages, customized outreach, and streamlined communication campaigns to pull it all together. And, through the generous support of our Charter Partners, our service is FREE to all nonprofits.

Three Ways to Participate
Charter Partners give back in three ways. Nonprofits and Donors can participate in any or all of these three programs.
Auction Items
$300 Gift certificate – applicable toward the cost of any private charter, or 2 tickets on any Ticketed Charter.
Private Charters
Direct donation to a nonprofit equal to 20% of the cost of a charter.
Ticketed Charters
20% of ticketed revenue donated to a nonprofit.
